compare_arrows Booqable vs. Yourenti

Yourenti: The Booqable alternative built for vehicle rental

Booqable is a strong international rental platform for equipment of every kind. What it does not offer is the automotive detail vehicle rental runs on – damage sketches, ID scanning, handover protocols – or German-grade hosting and tax compliance. Yourenti is built for exactly that, in English, for operators worldwide.

Where Booqable falls short for vehicle rental companies

These gaps are based on publicly available sources and verified user reviews (last checked: September 2026).

no_crash

No vehicle-specific features

Booqable is deliberately built for every industry – cameras, tents, bikes and tools just as much as cars. Damage sketches on a vehicle silhouette, driver licence and ID scanning, vehicle handover protocols, mileage and fuel level are missing. Rental companies end up mapping them onto free-text fields – or staying on paper.

receipt_long

No German tax-compliant invoicing

Booqable generates invoices automatically from orders, but documents neither GoBD-compliant immutability nor a process documentation – both of which a German tax audit looks for. That leaves German operators with extra work at every audit. Yourenti produces rental contracts and invoices in a GoBD-compliant way.

dns

No named German data centre

Booqable hosts on AWS. Its data processing agreement names an AWS entity in Luxembourg, but explicitly permits transfers outside the EEA, and the subprocessor list includes numerous US vendors. The DPA and privacy policy are available in English only. Yourenti hosts exclusively in Germany and provides German-language legal documents.

Add-ons make the entry price misleading

$29/month sounds cheap. But the website builder (+$19–24), barcode scanning (+$9–12 per user), mobile POS (+$9–12 per user), deliveries (+$9) and every additional location (+$29–37) are billed on top. API access and e-signatures only start with the Grow plan at $69/month. Everything is charged in US dollars, so European customers carry the exchange rate risk.

Checkout runs on a Booqable domain

The booking checkout is served from a Booqable domain rather than your own. For branding, trust and multilingual sites that is a break in the customer journey – a point raised repeatedly in user reviews. Yourenti serves the booking flow under your domain, with your logo and colours.

Where Booqable is the better choice

Booqable is a strong product – it is simply built for different requirements. In these cases we honestly advise against switching to Yourenti.

inventory_2

Renting objects rather than vehicles

If you rent out cameras, AV equipment, bikes, tools, furniture or bouncy castles, Booqable is clearly the better fit. Individual and bulk item tracking, variants, bundles and maintenance windows cover exactly those needs – Yourenti only understands vehicles.

storefront

Online store and website in one product

Booqable ships a website builder with 80+ templates and integrates with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow and WooCommerce. If you have no website at all yet, you get storefront and back office from a single vendor.

reviews

A far larger review base

Booqable holds 4.8/5 across more than 1,100 Capterra reviews and 4.8/5 on G2, serving roughly 8,000 rental businesses worldwide. Yourenti’s 4.9/5 on Google rests on a much smaller sample – which belongs in any fair comparison.

hub

Open API and broad automation

Booqable offers a documented REST API (from the Grow plan) and a Zapier connection to over 8,000 apps. Yourenti currently has no open public API. If you need deep integrations with existing systems, Booqable gives you more to build on.

Frequently asked questions about Booqable and Yourenti

How much does Booqable cost compared to Yourenti? expand_more
Booqable costs $29/month (Start), $69/month (Grow) and $149/month (Scale) when billed annually, or $35, $87 and $187 when billed monthly. Add-ons come on top: website builder $19–24, barcode scanning and mobile POS $9–12 per user each, deliveries $9, additional locations $29–37 each. Yourenti charges a €29 base fee plus €20 per vehicle on an annual term – from €49/month for a single vehicle, with the per-vehicle price dropping as your fleet grows. The key difference for European operators: Yourenti bills in euros, while Booqable adds exchange rate and USD VAT handling on top. (Last checked: September 2026)
Is Booqable GDPR-compliant and where is the data hosted? expand_more
Booqable provides a data processing agreement and a privacy policy, both in English only. Hosting runs on AWS; the DPA names an AWS entity in Luxembourg but explicitly permits transfers outside the EEA, and the subprocessor list includes numerous US vendors. Booqable does not name a dedicated German or EU-only data centre. Yourenti hosts exclusively in Germany and provides the DPA and privacy policy in German – which makes your own GDPR documentation considerably simpler if you operate in the DACH region.
Does Booqable support GoBD and German e-invoicing? expand_more
No. Booqable creates invoices automatically, but documents no GoBD-compliant immutability and no process documentation. Accounting data can only be synchronised via Xero, and only from the Grow plan up. XRechnung and ZUGFeRD are not supported either – which matters because German businesses have been required to receive B2B e-invoices since 1 January 2025, with the obligation to issue them phasing in through the end of 2027. To be fair: a XRechnung/ZUGFeRD export is not part of Yourenti’s feature set today either.
Does Booqable have an iOS and Android app? expand_more
Yes, Booqable offers apps for iOS and Android. The features that matter day to day, however, are paid add-ons: mobile POS costs $9–12 per user per month, barcode and QR scanning another $9–12 per user per month. User reviews also note that some tasks can only be completed in the web back office. The Yourenti app is included at no extra cost and covers the full rental process – booking calendar, damage photos, damage sketch, digital signature and ID scanner.
Who is Booqable the better choice for? expand_more
Anyone renting out something other than vehicles: AV and event equipment, cameras, bikes, tools, furniture, sports and outdoor gear. Booqable tracks individual and bulk items, handles variants and bundles, and ships a complete online store with a website builder. It is also the stronger option if you need an open API for custom integrations. Yourenti is deliberately narrower: vehicle rental only, but with every automotive detail a general-purpose tool does not cover.
Can I use Yourenti outside Germany? expand_more
Yes. Yourenti is available to vehicle rental businesses worldwide. The platform runs in English, further interface languages are available on request, support is available in English and German, and you can invoice your renters in any currency – your Yourenti subscription itself is billed in euros. Hosting stays in Germany regardless of where you operate, which for European operators is an advantage rather than a limitation.
How good are Booqable’s reviews? expand_more
Very good – and that belongs in an honest comparison. Booqable holds 4.8/5 across more than 1,100 Capterra reviews, 4.8/5 on G2 and 4.2/5 on Trustpilot. Reviewers praise the ease of use, the website templates and the support. The recurring criticism concerns the add-on pricing structure, the performance of generated websites and the checkout running on a Booqable domain. Yourenti sits at 4.9/5 on Google, but on a considerably smaller number of reviews.
Can I migrate from Booqable to Yourenti? expand_more
Yes. Request your free 14-day Yourenti trial – no credit card, no commitment; we set the access up together with you. Vehicle, customer and booking data can be exported from Booqable, and our support team helps you import it free of charge via WhatsApp or phone. One thing to plan for: the booking page you built in Booqable is replaced by the Yourenti booking flow, which runs on your own domain. Running both systems in parallel during the trial is no problem.

All statements about Booqable are based on publicly available sources (websites, review platforms, app stores). Last checked: September 2026. We accept no liability for accuracy or currency.
